MISSIONS & MISSIONARIES

Connections, along with our sister FECSGV congregations and all member churches of the First Evangelical Church Association (FECA), are committed to global missions, in obedience to Jesus' "Great Commission" to go and "make disciples of all nations..." (Matthew 28:18-20).

Such missions efforts are realized by Connections members at all levels, whether they be sharing the good news of Jesus to our neighbors or with faraway peoples, supporting our missionaries in prayer or through financial partnership, participating in short-term projects, or even becoming long-term workers in the missions field.

Please explore the following sections on some of our highlighted missionaries, as well as opportunities to partner in missions, whether in prayer, in financial support, or active participation in a short-term missions project!

Please keep in mind that the information here is not comprehensive, and that some of our long-term missionaries are not listed for security purposes, as they serve in sensitive regions.

Short-Term Missions Opportunities

Our featured missionaries

Gabriel Wong

Although God did not call Gabriel to go to Africa, he is nevertheless sharing the Gospel message in a different kind of jungle - among fraternity students!  Gabriel is an InterVarsity campus staff minister at San Diego State University, where he has been involved in Greek ministry, reaching out to college fraternity students.  Gabriel's ministry has been partially supported by FECSGV's local missions fund.
