Pastor John has been our pastor since 2009.  Before assuming this responsibility, he served with his wife as a missionary in Western Europe before returning to the USA where he was an associate pastor, executive pastor, senior pastor, and the founding pastor of a church plant.

During his both ministry overseas as well as here at home, Pastor John has traveled extensively teaching God's Word in a variety of contexts.  His travels include thirteen countries in Eastern and Western Europe as well as Asia.  He now applies his rich cross-cultural background and church ministry experiences to "Connections," a ministry of the First Evangelical Church of San Gabriel Valley.
